Behind the label...
Will Sandbach, Abbie Roden and Hermione Underwood launched amie rosé in the UK during the Corona virus lockdown, when they recognised an opportunity to pair a high quality and affordable French rosé with an international charity close to their hearts. A wine to drink with their friends - something that they missed doing the most.
The Australian connection
It was only fitting that the team opted to work on the brand’s design with another close friend, acclaimed artist Jessica Yolanda Kaye (@jessicayolandakaye), another Australian living in Notting Hill. Lending her fashion-forward illustration style to the logo and label design, Jessica was inspired by the vision of friends drinking amie, imagining the final setting for the bottle, and seeking for the illustration to ‘blend’ into that scene.

charity: water
$1 from every bottle of amie rosé sold goes to charity: water who send 100% of public donations straight to the field – this is made possible by a dedicated group of private donors, known as 'The Well'. The money pays for overheads, wages and transport and the charity funds sustainable water projects in areas of greatest need using local partners to implement them.
The majority of people without water live in isolated rural areas, spending hours every day walking to collect it for their family. Not only does this take up time that parents could be using to earn money, often the water can carry disease. When a community gets access to clean water, it changes just about everything; improving health, increasing access to food, grows local economies and helps kids spend more time in school.
