The Etna Bianco of Graci winery is a soft and fragrant white wine, obtained with a blend of 70% of Carricant and 30% of Cataract grapes, cultivated on the northern slope of Etna, 600 meters above sea level. With a nice straw yellow colour, the nose develops a floral and fruity bouquet, with notes of peach and pineapple, on a mineral background. The taste is fresh, soft and of medium structure.
The Etna Bianco of Graci is perfect if drunk in combination with typical courses of Sicilian cuisine, such as fish couscous and caponata of aubergines.

There’s a little more width than expected in the palate which makes for a pleasing, mouth-filling action, but really this is more about briskness and zing than loading up the full personality of the variety used here. It’s nice drinking whatever way you come at it.

Medium to full-bodied, juicy cherry and tangy blood orange, smoky and dry, a tingle to the acidity, sooty and ashen tannin, wild herbs and cherry trail on a pretty good finish. Tangy in the aftertaste. A bit clunky, but plenty to grab on to.
