100% handpicked - pressed in to French oak barriques, 30% of which were new. The wine was matured in barrel for a period of 10 months prior to blending and bottling after a single filtration.
Pure fruited with fresh blackberry, blackcurrant and ripe plum, hints of sage, violets and leaf.bThe palate is juicy and smooth, with very fine tannins that leave a pleasant powdery aftertaste, adding to the sense of refreshment. While not overly complex, there is genuine persistence of flavour.
